Telecom operators are making substantial financial commitments to revamp and reconfigure their existing IT and billing infrastructures. This extensive overhaul aims to facilitate the straightforward segregation of revenues derived from various sources, such as roaming services, termination fees, and interconnect charges. Industry experts estimate the expenses for such comprehensive system upgrades to be approximately INR 300 crore. This development was highlighted in a report by Economic Times.
